Dote! Wasn't paying attention that my domain name expired on the 15th. Just noticed on Saturday the 26th. So my website was down and I wasn't getting any emails. I don't get that many so I didn't really notice. Anyways, it's back now.

Google Maps - 8/7/2007 11:18 AM

Something I've been wanting to do for a long time was to plot pictures I've taken onto a map of the world at the place where the picture was taken. Well wouldn't you know it, Google Maps has gone any set that up for me. I don't have many out there yet, but it's a start.

Back to Colorado - 9/25/2005 7:20 PM

Amanda and I are in Colorado at the moment. I had a meeting for work last Thursday and have a training course all this week. But we had the whole weekend to ourselves and I should have some free time in the evenings this week. So we have been able to make it somewhat of a vacation.

For instance, we went to Estes Park on Friday. We had enough time to take a drive around Rocky Mountain National Park. We took the Old Fall River road up the mountain. That was fun. There was even an Elk sitting in the middle of the road at one point. We got to the Alpine Visitor's center just before it closed. Opps, not much time to shop. Of course we took a bunch of pictures up there. But it was getting very windy and very cold.

On Saturday, we decided to take a hike. It was my idea to see if we could make it to Chasm lake, just below Long's Peak. We got to the point where there was a great view of the peak. But not being in great shape, we decided that was enough and headed back down. A 7 mile hike up about 2,000ft.

I posted a couple pictures already. I'll post more when I have time.

We're finally a family. No, we didn't have a baby.... exactly. We've got a dog! His name is Linus and he's a pointer/border collie mix. He's the cutest thing and such a sweetheart. Here's some pictures

My workplace decided to move our office in Milwaukee to Stillwater, MN. So Amanda and I are packing up. It's happening pretty quick. It's exciting and a little crazy. But the most exciting part is that we've got a house. It's in Somerset, WI. It'll be about a 15 minutes drive to Stillwater. That will be much better than the 80 minute drive I've got right now. Anywho, here's a few pictures of the place.

Our friend Katherine video taped our wedding. In addition to just giving us a video of all the events, she put together a music video with many of the highlights from the day. It's really cool. So for anyone interested, I've posted it here. It's about a 9MB download. So it may take a while if you've got dial-up.
